Taya Hair’s Story
STYLIST + EDUCATORMy name is Taya, and I’m a professional stylist, educator, and owner of Cove in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. I’ve been behind the chair for over 8 years, specializing in luxury effortless hair.
Whether I am behind the chair or educating, I like to bring my fun and creative vibe and always strive to be super personable and relatable! I want to encourage others to push themselves to their fullest potential and help them reach the goals they have set out to accomplish.
Sharing knowledge and input in the hair industry, especially for new stylists, is so critical. So, I’m on a mission to educate and inspire other like minded stylists to grow in all aspect’s of their careers.
Meet Taya
In 2016, I began Taya.Hair while at my first salon in Edmonton. I enjoyed my time working alongside talented stylists but was longing for something more. So, I moved to Kelowna, British Columbia to start fresh without knowing what was to come. In less than a year of living in Kelowna I opened Cove Salon.
Through this whole journey, I’ve come to realize there’s so much to learn in the hair industry, and I want use my experiences to help other stylists with their own growth, social media strategies, colour techniques, and the power of personal brand.
